God Bless Our Troops

Today we went out to Floral Haven so Reese could see all of the flags.. It is so beautiful and such an amazing tribute to our fallen soldiers. We were able to find my Grandad's flag and of course in perfect Jay Jones fashion he was drawing attention to himself. His flag was falling over so some ROTC members came over to fix it and after it was back up they saluted his flag. It was a pretty cool moment that it happened as we were walking up. Three of Reese's great grandfathers served in WW II and we are so proud of them. We love them and miss them so much!!!!!

We love Little Lighthouse

Every year we go to The Little Lighthouse Garden Party which is their annual fundraiser. They have a live and silent auction, and it is such a wonderful event. This year Grandma and Aunt Cake got to go with us, and of course Lolly was there. Everyone wears big hats, and they have a hat contest. After watching the Royal wedding I decided to go with the headband this year because I had a hard time seeing last year because my hat was so big.

We just got back from Gulf Shores, Alababma and it is definitely going to be a new vacation spot for us. The beach was white sand and it wasn't crowded which is a huge plus. Reese loved the beach and the pool.
