Happy One Week Reese

This week has been full of exciting things. Reese had her first bath, went on her first walk, made her first trip to the fire station, and had her newborn photo session done. The photo session was with cousin Leah and they were less than thrilled to have the camera on them. We can't wait to see the pictures because we know Cheri did great.

This is me going for my first walk. It was nice and warm, but very windy.


My shirt says I love Bailey, and even though I am crying I really love my big sister. She takes great care of me and lets my mom and dad know when I am crying.



Not a fan of bath time. I know I need to be clean but really Mom does Dad need that camera in here. I need my privacy.

My first trip to the doctor

Today we went to the doctor and Reese weighs 6 pounds 12 ounces. The docotr was not concerned about the loss, and we will go back on Friday for a weight check. Not much else going on here except that Reese has her days and nights confused and everyone here is very tired.
Here is Reese and everyone in her family loves her so much.

We made it home

We are resting at home with our sweet baby girl Reese Elizabeth Phillips born April 22, 2010 at 4:24 PM weighing in at 7 pounds 9 ounces and 19 3/4 inches long. We think she is the most amazing and beautiful girl ever. I know many parents won't agree but this is our opinion. It is amazing to me how we go from pregnant to parents and how our lives chnage.

Still waiting, patiently of course

Dear BR,
Yesterday was suppose to be your birthday, but for some reason you were not ready. Tonight your Daddy and I are patiently waiting to meet you tomorrow. Tomorrow is going to be the best day ever, and we can't wait to see your precious face for the first time. Let's get some rest tonight since tomorrow will be so busy. We love you and are so excited that you are coming.

Due Date

Today is our due date for BR Phillips, and no baby yet. We are patiently waiting, and we know BR will come when it is time, however if BR is not here by Thursday we will go in for an induction. We are so excited to meet our newest family member and to find out if it is a boy or girl. For those of you that don't know BR is what we have been calling the baby since we don't know what the sex is. B is for Brody if it is a boy and R is for Reese if it is a girl, so we have BR. I will keep you posted on how things go, wish us luck.
